The Marine Conservation Training Center will train people in various ocean conservation, protection, climate change applications and ocean observation technics. ( theoretical and practical )
The aim of these courses is to train MCT Center trainees to be able, after completion of the complete training cycle, to correctly identifie threats to the marine environment, the biodiversity and to take regulative action by using modern research, inovative intelligent methods and high technology tools to prevent or remediate damages to the environment as part of a crew onbord a working research/patrol vessel. Climat Change prevention and research is completing the program together with a special ship savety & fire training .
The Center is designed to give active and theoretical marine conservation training on land and on bord a 16 to 18 meter environmental patrol vessel and 2 patrol tender all year round while activly protecting the marine environment.

S.G.O.W. ( Sea Guard Ocean Watch ) has been operating successfully since June 2015 in the Herault department collaborating with local communities and water authorities to resolve local , non local pollution and to sensibilise the general public during their water sports and their commercial navigational activities .
The M.C. training center will also asure in cooperation with S.G.O.W.I. members the role of an ecologic marine guard unit monitoring and patrolling the southern french coastline working in cooperation with local law enforcement to limit abuse of any kind to the ocean and marine life environment.
During the campaigns of 2015/2016 S.G.O.W.I. patrols protected successfully the Laguna du Thau,The Midi Channel (UNESCO) and the upper Herault river sensibilising the public towards ecologic impact in protected areas notable to speed limits ,sea grass protected areas, wild life preservation and shore bank protection.
Covering a total of 75qkm of marine resort of the department.
Due to the rising number of fast emerging leisure and commercial activities within the local marine environment a S.G.O.W. Training and Research Center becomes a neccessairy institution to educate and train locally environmental NGO ECO Sea Guards to protect these natural and fragile coastal marine territories for the next  decades to come.
